Today, Brendan is a Strategy Director with Hill & Knowlton's Brussels office.
He provides communications counsel at local, pan-European, and global levels with a focus on the integration of digital corporate and public affairs – including issues and crisis management, corporate reputation management and internal communications. His value is his ability to develop effective online strategies that integrate with traditional communications and public affairs methodologies.
He is a trained journalist and content creator. And of his more than 18 years PR and communications experience, the last 14 have increasingly focused on integrated digital public affairs and public relations, includes online threat and reputation analysis, integrated strategy development and execution, content and community strategy, influencer outreach, online advocacy, monitoring and measurement, and training for clients (many in the Fortune 500) across a wide variety of sectors, including government, non-profit, energy, transportation, financial, technology, banking and energy sectors.
In addition to his consulting work, Brendan facilitates training seminars for many H&K clients, helping them to better understand the risks and opportunities presented by emerging social technologies and trends. He speaks regularly at trade events internationally. Brendan also works closely with Hill & Knowlton's crisis communications and energy practices .
In his capacity as a senior media strategist, writer and editor, Brendan also develops compelling, on-strategy, message-driven content including Annual Reports, Web Content, Marketing Brochures, White Papers, Press Releases, Corporate Collateral, Opinion Pieces and Editorials, Letters, Speeches, and Advertising Copy.
He's also a nice guy... at least according to his wife and twin daughters.
