In Long Beach, California, appraiser Brendan Flynn serves as president of The Flynn Group, a regional real estate appraisal company that handles the valuation of both commercial and multi-family residential properties. He has over two decades of experience assisting attorneys with estate appraisals and has also acted as an appraiser for such large-scale properties as Trump Tower Honolulu and apartment complexes in Miami and San Diego with more than 800 units each. For Comerica Bank’s Luxury Home Department, Brendan Flynn has appraised the homes of a number of famous figures, including a member of the Rat Pack and an international film star, among others.

Before beginning his career, Brendan Flynn received a BS in business finance from Lewis & Clark College. He competed on the Lewis & Clark crew team and earned All-Conference selection as a member of the golf team. Following graduation, he joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management as a financial consultant and within only six months he completed an adviser program normally scheduled to take two years. He worked at a Merrill Lynch office in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he both advised clients on issues ranging from tax planning to insurance and executed the purchase and sale of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds on their behalf.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Flynn remains active within the community and coordinates a philanthropic group that partners with principals at local elementary schools to provide gifts for students in need during the holiday season.
