I’m the Chief Solutions Whisperer at Perk3 Consulting. I was co-founder and former Communications Consultant of Joshua Communications. The majority of my career has been spent in the employee benefits arena; first as a broker, and then as a communications specialist. All of that prepared me for my current role as an independent benefits communication consultant.

I believe in servant leadership and have held extensive volunteer leadership roles with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM)-Kansas City, Missouri SHRM, SHRM Membership Advisory Council, Kansas City Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) Chapter and the Greater Kansas City Business Leadership Network.

I’ve had the amazing privilege of working for my dad and working with my husband and sister. Family and faith are key to who I am and what’s important to me. One of my favorite roles is being Aunt Brenda to five awesome nephews. Motivated by family, I’m passionate about disability inclusion in the workplace. Missouri has always been my home and I love the four unique seasons with their variety of outside activities.
