singer, Writer, and producer in New York
Singer, songwriter and producer Brendon Hamilton has been writing and performing since he was a kid. Influenced heavily by the groups like Depeche Mode, The Cure and the Police as well as artists like Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson and Peter Gabriel, Brendon has crafted a genera of music that is familiar yet refreshingly new. Combining infectious melodies with uncommon instrumental arraignments, Brendon weaves a dark yet hopeful tapestry which most listeners will be unable to not revisit once they have listened. That balance between riding steady and risking it all is the core tension at the heart of song creation for him. It would be simple to just compose a song that is easily digested but that's not what he's about. Pushing the envelope and combining genera where possible is where he finds his reward.
His soaring, epic vocals, quirky melodies and self-contained musical world have earned him a loyal fan base that seems to empathize with what Brendon emotes through song. The Emotional struggle is central to Brendon's ethos. From the beginning it’s been his goal to take the pain he and others have experienced in life and spin it into something redemptive and uplifting. That transformation – of emotional pain into art – is what drives him and it’s also what inspired his debut album All In.
Brendon has just released his 2nd solo project, IN THIS BOX.
