Brent Chase

Brent J. Chase is a longtime Wilton, Connecticut, financial executive who has held leadership positions with GE Capital over the past 15 years. He has managed extensive loan portfolios and underwritten significant volume of new assets. Having guided loan workout activities through two extended economic downturns, Brent J. Chase of Wilton is comfortable with cash flow & ABL loans, and first and second lien loans.

Brent Chase completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting with an emphasis in finance at the Pennsylvania State University. A manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Stamford from 1995 to 2001, he led corporate audits and ensured that auditing activities met applicable standards. His emphasis was on high-tech ventures and Fortune 500 companies, and he made regular recommendations to audit and client management teams.

As vice president of the GE Bank Loan Group from 2006 to 2014, he was involved with distressed debt underwriting activities. He managed complex credits involving workouts and bankruptcy, including participation on various steering committees.
