Brent Freeman

Born into a family of entrepreneurs and artists, Brent developed a passion for making a difference in the world from a very young age. Having been in the working world from the age of 15, he developed a goal-oriented work ethic that is demonstrated in both his business and philanthropic efforts. Throughout the years of working with different companies, bosses, and industries, Brent noticed a direct correlation between a company’s success and the level of its socially responsible business practices. He witnessed first hand how talented individuals were consistently jaded and exploited by outdated corporate policies and practices. And it was in these experiences that he developed a passion to one day take the lead in promoting progressive business practices that were moral, responsible, and profitable. He currently does so today through his venture Roozt.com, a web 2.0 platform that connects cause-conscious brands with online shoppers.

Brent is committed to proving that the future of successful business is rooted in developing a business model that simultaneously benefits its employees, its surrounding community, the environment, humanity, as well as the bottom line of a balance sheet. Considering all the turmoil that has gone down in the last few years, Brent firmly believes that now is the time to set the foundation for these practices as the way of the future, and this website is the manifestation of this vision. Having lived abroad and traveled across the globe, Brent has a unique perspective that keeps him motivated to achieve the dream of making a real difference in the world through promoting and creating socially responsible companies.

Formally educated at the University of Southern California, Brent has a B.A. in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication and graduated from the Marshall School of Business Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship while double minoring in Italian Language.
