Brent Murray
Brent Murray is an award-winning photographer and art director, having been awarded multiple Pictures of the Year International editing awards as well as a Communication Arts Interactive award for his work at The New York Times. His work has appeared internationally in The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Der Spiegel, Zeit Magazine, Condé Nast Portfolio, O Magazine and New York Times best-selling Viking and Random House books, among others. His photographs have been exhibited in New York City and in Paris.
Mr. Murray lectures at The International Center of Photography and conducts portfolio reviews there, where he studied portraiture with renowned photographer Amy Arbus, the daughter of the legendary Diane Arbus. He shoots Hasselblad medium format and Canon and Leica digital.
