Hello! I’m a 2020 journalism and psychology graduate from Union University, where I was the Editor-In-Chief for Union’s student publication Cardinal and Cream.
My passions include building relationships, encouraging people, telling stories, and advocating for mental health. Through journalism, I hope to show that everyone has a story that matters and that there is beauty in every story.
Originally from Olive Branch, Mississippi, I played clarinet in my high school marching band and was the valedictorian of the class of 2016.
Along with Cardinal and Cream, I was a Life Group Leader and participated in Union’s pro-life organization, Life139, when I could. I have enjoyed serving at Memphis Union Mission, DNOW weekends, and VBS with my home church.
I am currently serving as an intern with an urban missions agency called Love Thy Neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky.
In my free time, I love spending time with family, playing with my Miniature Schnauzer, biking, playing board games, and watching Netflix. An ISFJ and Enneagram type 9, I am obsessed with personality tests, as well as organizing and cleaning.
Above all else, I want to be remembered for being an encourager, Christ follower, and family man. My hope is to help reconcile people to each other and to the Gospel and to shine a light in a dark world.
