My writing is like a train. I start by brainstorming ideas in my head, but not getting very far. Next I start getting my ideas down on paper and begin to build momentum. Then the next thing you know i'm moving at top speed towards my objective. After a long trip and I reach my objective, all of my ideas have been unloaded onto the paper and just need a bit of maintenance to really make it flow. Finally I come back to repair the bad ideas, and prepare to make the trip again.
