Hello! My name is Brett Peters and I am an undergraduate student at The Ohio State University!
After doing the StregthsQuest report the most interesting strength of mine was positivity. To me, this is one of the most important character traits to have. Positivity is having a good outlook on all situations even if they seem negative. I like to identify with this trait the most because in my eyes, being negative about a situation doesn't help. If you think positively, you'll get a positive outcome. I tend to think if I look at all the positives in life it'll rub off on the people around me. This sort of outlook has seemed to only be helpful when it comes to my social, educational, and personal life. When you have a positive outlook on life, all of these areas just seem to be more better off.
My favorite OSU tradition is "The Game." The game I'm referring to, happens during the last week of the football season against that team up north. It is one of the most touted rivalry games in sport and the fact that we get to take part in it is absolutely exhilarating. To me, there is nothing better than the game and its sort of like a holiday for us buckeye fans.
As a sports industry major and super fan of the game, one of the coolest things I got to do was describe my "dream job." The moment the idea of picking out our dream job came to light, I knew immediately what it was. Of course I've always wanted to be a professional athlete but that just wasn't realistic, so I turned to the next best thing: the general manager of a professional sports team. I know this job is very hard to obtain but if I was ever given the opportunity it would be a dream of mine. I hope to be involved in the sports world for the rest of my life and this is the job title I'm striving for.
