Brett Allen currently serves as the Assistant Director of Social Enablement for The Hartford, where he directs our agent-facing Social Selling initiatives. These programs are designed to help our agency partners leverage today’s social technology to promote new business and increase client retention through incorporating social selling best practices into the sales process. Social selling strategies we focus on include profile optimization, online engagement and leads generation.
Brett has taught thousands of small business owners over the years. Brett's students have enjoyed great success. Some have generated over 200 new accounts in a single year as a result of their execution of key LinkedIn and Facebook strategies and tactics. His recent work at The Hartford has helped his students increase their LinkedIn Social Selling Index (SSI) scores by 65%.
Brett has provided extensive consulting work for insurance, real estate and health care professionals.
Brett lives on a little island just outside of Seattle, WA. Brett married the cutest ballerina he could find while studying at BYU. They lived in Utah for a time, working for a large semiconductor company and then relocated to Seattle in 2000. We have 3 boys. We are a musical family and add song and strumming to just about everything we can. We also enjoy the Washington coast and heartily root for the Seahawks.
