Bretton Clark
Entrepreneur, Author, and Educator in Apsley, Ontario, Canada
I am a father and husband, entrepreneur, educator, and author.
I’ve worked as a teacher trainer, academic coordinator and instructor at post secondary institutions on three continents.
My company The Land Canadian Adventures specializes in experiential tourism, wilderness skills training and education across Ontario and BC. We have won several tourism and business awards through our chamber of commerce and regional entrepreneurship ecosystem. Our partners include Lakefield College School, Trent University, Fleming College, Parks Canada, Ontario Parks, Kawarthas Northumberland, Canadian Health and Recovery Centre, and the Nogojiwanong Friendship Centre. My roles are educational and experiential design, storytelling for DMOs and brands, marketing and sales, HR, risk management, and wilderness guiding.
My family and I work and steward our 80 acre wilderness property as a homestead and outdoor education centre in North Kawartha, where we raise livestock and crops, manage our forests and wetlands, and invite visitors to upgrade their outdoor skills.
I am learning to build log cabins, and currently writing my first extended piece of creative non fiction.
