Brett Simison is an award-winning editorial, commercial and fine art photographer based in Vermont. Over the course of his career, he has worked for a variety of commercial advertising and editorial clients in the United States, Europe, Mexico, and Central America, ranging from studio product photography, to assignments in the jungles of Guatemala, to teaching photography at the college level. His work was profiled in Shutterbug Magazine and has been featured in group and solo exhibitions throughout New England including The Vermont Center for Photography, The National Museum of the Morgan Horse, and The Jackson Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont.

His clients and publications include Outside Magazine, The New York Times, National Geographic, Time Magazine, Backpacker Magazine, Capital Magazine, Concepts by Hochtief (Germany), Skiing Magazine, Sizzle, Beer Advocate, Harcourt Houghton-Mifflin, Patagonia, The University of Virginia, Middlebury College, Pomona College, Stony Brook University, Beloit College, Drew University, the New England Culinary Institute, Landor Associates, and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.

The native of Citronelle, Alabama now lives with his wife Amy, son Connor, and daughter Charlotte in the city of Vergennes, Vermont.
