Brian O'Kane stands at the forefront of the O'Kane Group of Companies as President and CEO, and he is also the guiding force behind Klarke Investments, a key player in the real estate sector. Under his leadership, the firm manages many properties, including multi-family residences, office spaces, commercial and industrial buildings, and strip malls. Over the past two decades, his leadership has been marked by a deep knowledge of financial management, cost accounting, and financial modeling, making him a respected figure in property investment.

Since the early 2000s, Brian has been instrumental in founding several property development and general contracting firms that have left a significant mark on Calgary's real estate scene. One notable role was President of Vectus from 2011 to 2015, where he steered the firm in refurbishing existing structures and building new commercial and residential properties.

Brian's journey in the corporate world began even before his real estate ventures; he revitalized an oilfield equipment manufacturing firm, leading to its exponential growth and subsequent sale to an American competitor in 2001. His extensive resume includes a transformative stint as CEO of Capitan Overlay Technologies, where he executed a strategic turnaround and oversaw its sale, and influential positions such as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Flotek Industries, where he expanded the company’s reach and spearheaded technological innovations.

Earlier in his career, Brian was tasked with managing the financials at Cassola Management, handling a complex portfolio of 32 companies in the construction and manufacturing sectors. His financial acumen was also used at the Salmat Group in Australia, where he managed the finances for their operations in New South Wales.

Born in Toronto and raised in Sydney, Australia, Brian eventually returned to Canada, settling in Calgary after periods in Vancouver and Edmonton. He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University in 1985 and has since obtained professional accounting designations in Australia and Canada.
