I am a pastor, writer, and public speaker currently living in Unionville, Missouri. I am also a husband, adoptive parent, and foster parent.

1. How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ

I did not grow up in a preacher's home but in a "casual Christian" home. I trusted Christ to forgive me and save me when I was a young child and have been diving the depths of His spiritual riches ever since.

2. How I became a pastor

I started preaching in high school and fell in love with it immediately. I spent many years in high school and college learning the art and science of preaching. I was a bivocational pastor (meaning I pastored but worked a job on the side) for several years in multiple styles of ministry, but in April of 2016, I became a full-time pastor at Midway Baptist Church in Unionville, MO (http://mbcunionville.org).

3. What I do

I serve as the Senior Pastor, leading Midway in Unapologetic Preaching, Unashamed Worship, and in an Unstoppable Witness under the authority of Jesus Christ.

4. Why I do what I do

To see people grow in their desire to know and reflect Jesus in their life.

Favorite verse - 1 Corinthians 15:10 - "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
