Brian Garrio was born in the Hudson Valley Region of New York State and spent his time growing up between Fishkill and The Bronx. He is a former professional race car driver and tractor-trailer operator and is now a full-time freight broker and part-time novelist based in Manhattan, New York.

He is currently working on his debut novel, “The Night Driver," and publishing short stories on his blog.
