We depend on social infrastructure. Social infrastructure includes the water we drink, the streets and utilities that connect our homes and farms to our jobs and markets to the schools that we support as a student, parent, and as a taxpayer. Social infrastructure connects our cities and small towns, our counties, and states, and our nation to the world.
