An alumnus of Bartlett High School outside of Memphis, Tennessee, Brian Cox was an all-conference football player with Murray State University who began his career as a sales representative with Lose Brothers before embarking on his own entrepreneurial pursuits. In 2001, Brian Cox founded Angles Media in Memphis, serving nine years as CEO of the full-service marketing and telecommunications company.

Brian Cox presently serves as founder and CEO of Prepaidworx LLC, CEO of True Wireless and manages multiple investment properties through Memphis King Homes Realty LLC. Additionally, he is chairman and CEO of Surge Holdings, a publicly traded company that seeks to create long-term shareholder value through investments in telecom, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency markets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Among other accomplishments, Surge Holdings is the first company in the blockchain software sector to partner with a government institution.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Cox is a passionate philanthropist who oversees a charitable foundation helping Memphis children in low-income families. He also founded the Helping Hands Foundation in El Salvador.
