Brian Francolinigraduated from Southern New Hampshire University in May 2014. He was a member of the Men’s Soccer team, and his career culminated in the winning of the National Championship in 2013. Some highlights of his soccer career were playing soccer in high school in Ellington, CT, from which he graduated in 2009. He totaled 55 goals and 58 assists in high school, setting school records in goals, assists and points; he was selected as an All-American in his senior year and was a three-time All-State selection. He led Ellington to state championships as a junior and senior and also lettered in basketball and baseball and was Ellington’s Male Athlete of the Year three times. Francolini played in 22 games during the 2013 soccer season at SNHU and ranked second on the team in scoring with six goals and six assists. He had the game-winning goal in SNHU's 3-0 NCAA second round win over Wilmington (Del.) University and also had a pair of goals in a Northeast-10 quarterfinal win over The College of Saint Rose. In addition, he had an assist in the national semifinal against Rockhurst and again in the national championship game against Carson-Newman.
