I graduated CSU Monterey Bay with a Human Communications degree, concentration in Journalism & Media Studies.
After a year of writing for the Otter Realm I became Editor in Chief senior year.
Throughout my time working for the newspaper I was able to explore my interests in health, sports and community awareness.
Writing for the Otter Realm enhanced not only my skills as a journalist, but my love of writing.
Becoming editor was a staple moment in my life. This position showed me how to balance work and personal life, how to lead without dictation, and most importantly what I want as a career.
Growing up, I have always wanted to help others. I thought it would be through dietetics, but come to find out life had something else in mind.
I thank my failures for my greatest success, joining the line of communication.
