While teaching students the Core Values of FIRST Robotics.
For the past 21 years, I have been involved with FIRST Robotics and have seen how it has changed the lives of students. From being on a team, being a student mentor, and running summer camps. To coaching and mentoring countless teams while hosting local events at all the different age groups.
They expanding to helping the local robotics program grow by 1000% in just 5 years. Part of which came from IDOE funding to run 3 summers of standard aligned professional development training for robotics, which impacted more than 60 teachers and coaches.
I have continued this by starting E3 Robotics Center as a 501c3 NonProfit to focus on bringing STEM education through the use of robotics programs to as many students possible.
