Brian Burgess

Freelance, Consumer Tech Writer, and technology in Minnesota

Read my articles

Based in rural Minnesota, I've spent more than 10 years in IT before pursuing my passion for writing technology-based content. I have been writing about tech for more than 20 years and joined my local newspaper, where I learned to report for the community and appreciate the value of print publications.

Expertise

My key experience includes Windows and Microsoft products, as well as Android and iOS—but it doesn't stop there. I am well-versed in streaming services and devices, home networking, and Chrome OS. I have a knack for generating photos and screenshots for software products.

I meet deadlines and conduct in-depth research when writing copy on assigned topics. I also have experience in writer management and the ability to adapt to various CMS platforms.
