Equipped with a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical science and Bachelor of Chinese Medicine, Dr. Brian Chi Yan Cheng started his academic career as a visiting lecturer in the Polytechnic University. At the same time, he continued to study for a PhD degree in Biomedical science with his research focus in the molecular biological mechanism, chemical constituents and pharmacology of Chinese medicine. During his 3-year study period, he published over 10 academic articles in international medical journals. He was also invited to different countries to present his research topics to international scientists. Over the past 10 years, he has been actively contributing in the scientific researches in the biomedical field, publishing at least 35 Science Citation Index (SCI) Journals, with cumulative impact factor of over 140.

With solid knowledge in clinical governance, Dr. Brian Chi Yan Chengis a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner with extensive clinical experience and administrative achievements as Clinical Director of one of the largest integrated private healthcare groups, Quality HealthCare Medical Services, in Hong Kong.

Dr. Brian Chi Yan Chengis currently the Clinical Director (Chinese Medicine) in the Quality HealthCare Medical Services as well as the Expert Reviewer in the Bupa (Hong Kong) Ltd.
