Dr. Brian Daubs, Chief of Surgery at Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital, Florida's Space Coast Veterinary Specialty Center, brings extensive experience to clients and referring veterinarians in the area. Dr. Daubs has performed a number of fracture repairs as well as more complicated procedures, both at his current practice and at Veterinary Surgical Center, where he worked from 2010 to 2013. Dr. Brian Daubs is skilled at addressing a variety of issues with the airway, soft palate, prostate, pelvis, liver, and other areas of small animals.
Aside from his professional experience, Dr. Brian Daubs draws on extensive formal schooling. After obtaining his DVM from the University of Minnesota, he undertook a rotating internship at the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a surgical internship at Veterinary Specialists of South Florida; to finish his formal training, he fulfilled a three-year residency in surgery at the same facility. He belongs to the American Veterinary Medical Association and has earned the title of diplomate with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
