Brian Dinning had an interesting childhood, and when he was growing up in the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania, Brian was surrounded by coal mining families. His grandfather was a mining superintendent, and his father owned a large mine.
To help cut down on the company's carbon footprint and fossil fuel consumption, he worked on various Section 29 tax credit projects. These projects were designed to help companies develop clean coal technology and carbon sequestration research. After his family sold their mining interests to a US steel company, they now focus on creating a solar project on their two organic farms.
During the apartheid era in South Africa, Brian Dinning was able to visit the country. His uncle had been a missionary in Africa for 40 years. With a passion for conservation and a hard-working, creative, and logical mind, Brian can make a difference in helping organizations achieve their goals.
