I am passionately committed to improving the livelihoods of the world's most vulnerable populations through technology and education. To that end, I am currently studying International Education Policy at Harvard University.
Prior to coming to Harvard I taught primary school in Gangnam, South Korea and spent several years working in international education development for the Academy for Educational Development and FHI 360 in Washington DC. During this time I explored innovative uses of technology by designing a website for the Education Policy and Data Center and leading a UNHCR Innovtion project in Dollo Ado, Ethiopia. I decided to attend the Harvard Graduate School of Education in order to learn more about education in conflict and post-conflict settings.
In addition to being a full-time student, I was elected as the Student Council Officer of Communications. In this capacity I serve as a liaison with the administration on any issues related to technology or communications. I also seek to promote innovative uses of technology to support the mission of the school as the first Technology Innovation Fellow.
