Brian LaRose

In September of 1994, LaRose began his career at Deloitte as a staff accountant. He matriculated to Manager in the audit practice in 1999. Brian worked closely with the firm’s Managing Partner, Vice Chairmen & other senior firm leaders to improve several facets of the business. Following this National assignment, Brian served as a Senior Manager for Deloitte’s Special Acquisition Services (M&A) in San Francisco.
In May of 2003, Brian joined the ranks of Hewlett Packard (HP) where he oversaw HP’s SEC reporting group. A year later, he transitioned to an Investor Relations Director position. During this time, Brian managed investor relationships around the globe. Investor Relations Magazine nominated his team as the most improved large cap investor relations team. Brian maintained several positions during his time with HP, including Divisional CFO roles across HP’s PC & Printing divisions and operational sales regions. Brian also spearheaded HP’s transition into two publicly traded Fortune 50 companies, the largest split in US history at the time. Later, between 2015 & 2020, he served as the Division CFO for HP’s 3D business.
In September of 2020, Brian swapped industries, joining the now publicly traded company, Petco. Brian serves as the Senior Vice President of Finance.
Brian annually leads a 24 hour Spinning fundraiser through Studio SWEAT, which in past years has raised over $10k each for a paralyzed teenager (allowing him to buy an augmented surf board and get a service dog) and PAWSitive Teams, a non-profit organization dedicated to training service dogs. The 2021 event is tentatively scheduled for the summer of 2021 and will benefit https://www.taps.org/, which provides, care and resources to all those grieving the death of a military loved one. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
