Brian Mark Lusink

Brian Mark Lusink began his successful career in the financial world in 1988, when he began work as an Investment Associate for Interstate/Johnson Lane, Inc., which eventually became Wachovia Securities Inc. Among other responsibilities, Lusink assisted with research and client reviews and presented brokers with new business prospects. He also created a proposal system that aided brokers in conducting client reviews and presentations in a more efficient manner. Brian Mark Lusink gained additional experience by assisting the sales force with telemarketing and direct mail campaigns and bringing in clients to attend analyst and portfolio managers’ investment seminars. The next step on the corporate ladder took Brian Mark Lusink to Murdock-Taylor Financial Services in Atlanta, where he assumed the role of Account Executive and took on a host of duties. Lusink developed new business for the financial and estate planning division and used his own valuable contacts to market the firm’s services in wealth planning and financial development to high-net-worth individuals and families. Lusink presented seminars and used referrals and telemarketing to find new customers for a variety of financial products, such as life and disability insurance, mutual funds, annuities, and more. In addition, Lusink created and implemented different employee benefits programs in conjunction with the human resources department. Brian Mark Lusink consistently outperformed both monthly and quarterly sales goals set by management at Murdock-Taylor. The invaluable experience he gained helped Lusink achieve his current position as Partner and Chief Operating Office of the Premier Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Atlanta office. There, Brian Mark Lusink oversees many day-to-day operations, developing new business leads, conducting estate and financial planning for high-net worth clients, coordinating mergers and acquisitions, and is involved in helping the management of his team’s investment portfolio. A Certified Financial Planner and Registered Representative, Brian Mark Lusink holds Series 6, 7, 31, 63, and 65 licenses. He is an agent of health and life insurance, as well as variable life and variable annuity insurance.
