Brian C. Moss is the Principal and Head of Acquisitions & Capital Markets at Coventry Real Estate Advisors, a leading private equity firm specializing in U.S. retail and mixed-use real estate. With a $3 billion portfolio, Coventry focuses on portfolio acquisitions, ground-up developments, and the redevelopment of existing assets. Brian joined the firm in 2002, bringing more than two decades of experience in real estate investment, and has been instrumental in driving the firm’s growth and success across various market cycles.

In his role at Coventry, Brian manages an extensive portfolio of 20 million square feet of retail properties spread across 43 states. He oversees the firm’s acquisitions, fundraising efforts, and structuring of joint ventures and limited partner (LP) relationships. His strategic leadership in these areas has played a key role in Coventry’s ability to grow and optimize its investments. Brian’s deep understanding of the real estate investment landscape has made him a trusted figure in the industry.

Brian’s leadership has been particularly evident in the firm’s ability to adapt its investment strategies post-pandemic. In addition to his work in acquisitions and capital markets, Brian has been a key player in asset management. He has managed and executed several high-value transactions, including recapitalizing $380 million in legacy investments. His work has involved securing debt and equity capital, structuring joint ventures, and overseeing the implementation of new business plans to drive long-term growth.

Brian Moss of New York holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Northwestern University and was a standout athlete. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors while competing on the Men’s Varsity Tennis Team. His success on the court and in the classroom led to a partial tennis scholarship to Northwestern University, where he excelled academically and athletically.
