Brian Muguto

I started my career as a marketer for a fasteners, industrial and engineering supplies company in Aberdeen, North Scotland. We mostly served the North Sea oil and gas industry but also had customers in the pharmaceutical, agricultural, nuclear, renewables and automotive sectors. I learnt a lot about B2B marketing and branding, about how to be creative with non-glamourous products and, about being effective with a limited budget... priceless experience.

I recently made the move from client-side to agency, and now ply my trade as a strategist / planner for a digital agency in Johannesburg. My key clients include a multinational telco, one of the largest banks in Africa, and one of the most popular and/or successful kitchen appliance brands in the country.

I love football (soccer) - support Arsenal and Pirates, I dabble in photography, I enjoy making stuff (crafts) and, you'll often find me playing golf, squash, and cycling.
