Brianna Burie

I was born in Saint Louis, Misouri and moved to Rockton, Illinois when I was young.

I attended to Hononegah High School in Rockton, Illinois. While in high school i participated in many clubs and was on the dance and track team.

I currently attend Illinois State University for Bilingual and Bicultural Elementary Education. I am on a dance team called Unlimited Dance Team and enjoy relazing and spending times with my friends. I also enjoy photography and watching movies.

I love my family and grow closer to my siblings and parents every year. My family is very important to me and I always miss them when I am away at school or am gone for other reasons.

My senior year of high school I was selected to be a 2012 Golden Apple Scholar. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work in Chicago Public Schools and the support the foundation gives me.

I hope to become a teacher who changes the lives of the students i work with. I strive every day to impact people's lives in a positive matter and love volunteering and working with others.
