I am an eldest sister, academic, teammate, and journalist with a passion for creative writing and legal aspirations. As a journalism master’s student at the University of Oregon, I am passionate about politics, sports, food, activism, health and wellness. I am also an opinion columnist for the Daily Emerald.
When I am not immersed in storytelling, I can be found competing with Oregon Women’s Lacrosse or nationally with Puerto Rico Lacrosse. Apart from academia and athletics, I enjoy hiking, camping, reading, yoga, long runs, and thrifting.
My past work experience entails sales and marketing expertise for a cloud computing firm, overseeing athletic department funding for Yale Athletics, operating athletic ticket office services at both Yale and Oregon, interning with the pricing team at Macy's, and serving as a mentor and head lacrosse coach for the Georgia-based Eagle Stix Lacrosse Club.
As I prepare to matriculate into law school for the fall of 2025, I am interested in work experience that will allow me to hone my craft as a writer and legal analyst while bolstering my oral communication skills. Freelance or editorial writing and paralegal work are leadership positions I areas I see myself being a valuable asset in.
