Growing up in a small upstate New York town change was not an everyday occurrence. It did not take me long to realize that I needed more excitement and thrill in my life. That is when I turned to traveling. The ultimate adrenaline rush is landing in an unfamiliar territory knowing new people and experiences await me. Wether it be walking through the red light district of Amsterdam people watching or backpacking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, traveling has never disappointed me. It has been the one constant aspect of my life that brings me joy, which is the reason I turn to it when life gets stressful. On the other hand traveling has also been the source of my most wild times: bungee jumping in Mexico, clubbing in Greece, and sky diving in Peru. Thankfully I am fortunate enough to have parents who not only support my love of traveling, but share a similar passion. If it had not been for them I would still be living in the cocoon of my home town smothered by people discouraging my dream of seeing the world.
