Brianna Neitzel

Hi, I’m Brianna. I am a recent graduate student from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education; Sports Industry Major, Education Minor. I am aspiring to continue my education by earning my Master's Degree in Sports Administration, Marketing, or Management. Currently I am saving up to go to graduate school by bar tending at Fourth Street Bar which is located close to campus and working for Columbus Recreation and Parks at the Tuttle Park location. While doing that I am also in the process of looking for internships relevant to the career that I am seeking to be a part of.

At The Ohio State University I was a Division I athlete in the Track and Field program. I ran track majority of my life and earned a scholarship at Ohio State. During my time as an athlete I dedicated all my time to the love of the sport and earning my education maintaining a 3.2 GPA. During the summer's I would work as a Staff member at Tuttle Park Recreation where I also ran a two week track program. After becoming injured my junior year I felt the need for more connection in the sports world. This is when I discovered The Ohio State Athletic Department's Fan Experience and Promotion. I interned for 'Fan Ex' for a year where I discovered my love for sports marketing and promotion. I truly enjoyed working for them because I was able to have fun with the fans while learning about sports marketing and promoting the sports that I was working for. We worked behind the scenes and I discovered the amounts of creativity and hard work it takes setting up games in order for fans to gain the full experience of the sports they were attending. We worked hard on coming up with new ideas to attack fans to the 36 Varsity Sports Programs that Ohio State currently has.
