Brianne Cove

Brianne Cove is currently a student at Durham College. She’s studying to be a Videographer. In the past Brianne studied Ecological Restoration at Fleming College because she thought she’d enjoy making a difference in the world through science. She quickly learned that she was holding her creative side back and decided to switch to an artsy program to let her creative mind work. Currently her most important goal is to make a film that will change someone’s life. That is what she strives to achieve in the future.

In high school and for a little while after graduation she spent a majority of her time working with other secondary schools to eliminate bullying. A group of 7 people at her local high school started making T-shirts and working in a non-profit group to raise awareness in school and over the 5 years she was working with them her group sold numerous shirts. The first year they sold 90 shirts and in the last year they sold over 5000 and their message spread to 3 different school districts! The accomplishment and the amazing feeling she got from changing all those peoples’ lives and impacting them made her realize this is what she wants to do. She want’s to make a difference.
