Brian Patrick Lim, is a freelance cinematographer and director, closely working with production house, Runaway Robot Productions, in Manila. His first feature, Chasing Fire in 2009, won Best Screenplay at The Barcelona International Film Festival. He considers his first feature a big blunder and a great learning experience. After a 4-year haitus, and dabbling in streetwear, and travelling to Italy to learn the art and craft of making Gelato, his appetite for filmmaking came back. He attended Vancouver Film School in 2013 to regain his passion back, in a safe and encouraging environment, to further enhance his directing and cinematography skills. Returning to the Philippines in 2015, he has then worked with Runaway Robot Productions on various digital videos for brands such as Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Lady's Choice, KFC, Jollibee, PLDT, Merck Pharmacesuticals, Unilab, L'Oreal Paris,and Complex Lifestyle Store. After a couple of years working in the industry, he felt comfortable in directing again, and produced, Marian, a short horror film that premiered in Screamfest in Hollywood California. Marian has played in various film festival and has been featured on CryptTV.
