I was employed at US EPA as a large facility Cleanup Project Manager/Enforcement Officer in the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act program.

Nearly two years ago, I fulfilled a lifetime dream, going through the required psych examination and interviews, and all state mandated training in use of force, fitness, firearm use and background screening and became a sworn Auxiiary Police Officer in a village in the western suburbs of Chicago. This is a part time on-call position functioning as a police officer assisting regular officers on duties required by the department.
