In late March of 1979, nine months after winning the race, life took a terrible turn for me. I emerged from my mother's warm comforting womb into a cold uncaring world.

I seized the opportunity and thrived.

I've since managed to complete a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, and even with that, still eventually became a Supply Chain Analyst for a mid-size medical product manufacturer.

My free time is spent raising my three similarly apt competitive swimmers, reading, gardening, and learning how to make things myself that most people prefer to buy at the store.
