Brian Sax of ACN was born in Los Angeles and grew up in San Marino, California, graduating from San Marino High School in 1989. He graduated from Princeton University in 1994 with a degree in Civil Engineering. Brian moved to Greeley, Colorado, where he trained for track in the summers and coached track at the University of Northern Colorado. He eventually moved back to California, starting with ACN not long after.
