Brian Scholtz
Service Design Consultant in Chicago, Illinois
I help organizations improve the quality of their customer's experiences (internal or external) through strategic alignment of the people, technology, information, processes and goals that comprise their service system.

EMPATHY:
Empathy and creative problem solving were constant lessons during my formative years in scouting where I earned the rank of Eagle Scout, led my unit and helped fellow scouts achieve their own personal goals. After graduating, I continued developing those skills as an Assistant Scoutmaster.
RESEARCH:
I learned formal research in college where I earned a degree in Psychology and led studies on human subjects. I was taught a scientific approach to designing studies, analyzing data, and the rigor of defending and publishing my conclusions.
CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING:
I developed my deep consulting skills when I was recruited to work for the consulting arm of a global software company. This work gave me the tools to quickly understand business challenges in different industries, build trust across organizations, lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects and give consequential advice.
