I am a professional photographer, travel writer, expedition guide, skier, scuba diver, and traveler.

I also work as a senior river expedition leader for Mountain Travel Sobek and have guided for other notable outfitters including Earth River Expeditions, Costa Rica Expeditions, and Whitewater Voyages. I've run China's Yangtze, Ethiopia's Omo, Peru's Colca, the Bio BIo and Futaleufu rivers in Chile, and rivers in Alaska, Canada, Ecuador, Nepal, and India. I've guided first river descents on 3 continents and have worked on television documentary projects on expeditions in Costa Rica, Ethiopia, and Peru.
