Brian Teague
Mr. Teague has been working as an entrepreneur since 2004. In that time, he has co-founded and helped shape Pocketstop into a mobile, social and digital powerhouse geared towards integrated marketing to build fanatical loyalty. In his current role with Pocketstop, Mr. Teague works as Chief Technology Evangelist. His job is to secure partnerships with key vendors, work with product development to bring new products to market, evangelize the business / technology and prosecute Pocketstop's IP portfolio.
Mr. Teague has 15+ years of extensive experience in the information systems industry. He earned a Management Information Systems degree from The University of Oklahoma. In 1997, he was hired and trained by CompuCom Systems, Inc. as a Systems Engineer. During his tenure, he worked as a consultant at DELL, Advanced Micro Devices, Motorola, American General Financial, OWEN Healthcare, TL Ventures and USAA. In October of 1999, Mr. Teague was recruited by Data Return Corp. to help grow the sales engineering practice. While at Data Return, he helped grow the business from $1 Million to $50 Million in annual revenue. In 2001, he moved to London to open Data Return UK, which serviced the European, Middle East and Africa markets. During his stint in the UK, he grew the business from $0 to $5M in annual revenue, secured partnerships with leading vendors and landed an unprecedented deal with Microsoft. In 2004, he left Data Return to start his own company, which evolved into Pocketstop.
In 2007, Mr. Teague started a philanthropic side to Pocketstop which allows NPOs and charities to take donations using cell phones and mobile devices. The service is called Mobile Giving and Pocketstop is one of a handful of companies across the nation engaged in this activity.
In 2012, Mr. Teague started a concept called ESTABLISHED IN DALLAS (EID) to help the next generation of Dallas entrepreneurs succeed. While working on EID, Brian realized that providing entrepreneurs with access to seed and growth capital was the key to the Dallas startup ecosystem. So, he started STREETFUNDER, which is a crowdfunding hub made possible by the signing of the JOBS Act on April 5th 2012.
