Brianti Downing

I'm the Editor-in-Chief/Founder of Feather Magazine and University of Florida magazine journalism graduate. I love (you guessed it) magazines, books, popular culture, history, politics and film. I'm also a self-esteem columnist and motivational speaker. I have three blogs I use to write about all of those things: Peace, Love & Magazines, Change Starts Here and The Daily Planet. Yep—it's that serious.

I really love to help people through journalism and I hope to start graduate school in Fall 2012 to study culture and arts reporting, along with multimedia. There are so many awesome new ways to tell a person's story now and I want to be a part of that innovation by (Attn: Seventeen.com, Glamour.com, etc.) working for a magazine's website.

I truly believe love really is all you need. And enough of it can make the world a much better place.
