Based on the choices given me by the folks at About.me, I’m a public speaker, writer, and teacher. While that’s true, let me be more specific....

I’m actually an evangelical Christian pastor, charity leader, blogger, author, freelance writer, former Christian school teacher, and former non-profit / association manager living in the Washington, DC area.

My hobbies and interests include history, science fiction and fantasy (including the emerging genre known as GameLit or LitRPG), writing, entrepreneurship, and volunteering. I’m also interested in politics and various causes.

I’m married with 2 teenage children.
