Brian Wamatu

Brian Wamatu has built a career in mobile money for the betterment of Kenya and beyond. His career began in web app development for an East African company. His work centered on developing a number of financial service applications for mobile and web. As he developed more experience, he transitioned in a managerial position which increased his professional aspirations further than ever before. His managerial career lasted nearly a decade, and quickly rose the ranks until he was Head of Regional Expansion for Safaricom. He was responsible for the expansion, development, and improvement of mobile money and other Financial Services in Kenya.Today, Brian is a consultant for a number of companies in West Africa and seeks to serve communities across the continent in order to bring more accessibility and financial freedom to people of all walks of life.
