Brian Wiita

Over the course of his career, Brian Wiita has become known as a skilled financier and developer. Currently the CEO and President of American Heritage Global Energy, he has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate investment and development. Brian Wiita and his company are currently engaged in developing a wood pellet manufacturing facility in southern Georgia, which will help satisfy the growing global demand for this sustainable biomass energy source. The facility is expected to commence production in the first quarter of 2014.

Before starting his career, Brian Wiita earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Miami. During his career in commercial real estate, he has built key relationships with major financial institutions such as Union Mutual (UNUM), GE Capital, Prudential, Indianapolis Life, Lincoln National Life, and others. Mr. Wiita has also overseen the development, financing, and management of more than $200 million in commercial properties and has secured anchor tenancies with Walgreens, Home Depot, Target, Costco, Kmart, Publix, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Albertsons, Winn-Dixie, and other retail leaders.
