Brian Wilson
A former Fox News Senior Correspondent and Anchor, Brian Wilson has more than a decade of experience in television news and production. Specializing in political reporting, Brian Wilson was also regularly called upon to cover breaking news for the Fox News network. In addition to serving for 12 years at Fox News, Wilson anchored the news at WTTG-TV, Washington, D.C.’s Fox network affiliate. He has also worked extensively in radio. Currently, Brian Wilson serves as President of Right Tone Communications, a media training, message development, and television communications firm. Brian Wilson founded Right Tone Communications in September 2010. Within the company’s first six months, he trained hundreds of people on how to communicate more effectively on television and in the media. Right Tone Communications offers a variety of services, including media training, message development, crisis communications, and Broadcaster’s Bootcamp. With 35 years of on-camera experience, Brian Wilson has the necessary expertise to teach his clients how to look and sound prepared and authoritative during television appearances. Right Tone Communications has developed a media training seminar to teach everything from the basics of presentation to the fine points of message preparation. With his training system, Brian Wilson coaches clients to be compelling, conversational, and efficient when speaking on camera. In addition to teaching presentation skills, Brian Wilson and Right Tone Communications help clients develop their message, condensing vital points into a short, compact end products. Whether preparing to deliver information about a planned development or deal with message control during a crisis, Brian Wilson assists clients in engaging productively with the media and communicating competently through chaotic situations. In addition to his years of professional experience, Brian Wilson also holds a Master’s degree in Print Journalism from American University. After graduating with distinction, Brian Wilson served as an Adjunct Professor in Journalism at American University’s School of Communication while also beginning his career in broadcast journalism.
