Brian Winckel is a founder and builder working at the intersection of craft beer and software. After 14 years of self-employment — brewing and cellar work, hospitality, and running a wedding photography and videography studio — he now builds products for the beer world. He's the creator of Barley, a consumer app that helps people discover beers they'll actually love, and Brewlytics, an analytics platform that turns taproom POS data into clearer decisions for brewery operators. His work blends firsthand industry experience with a product builder's eye for the small details that make tools genuinely useful. He's based in Northern California, where he's happiest with a good pour and something new to ship.
