If I had a million dollars today, I would focus every waking moment on two things: 1.) Radio and 2.) Radio. Okay, so that's really only one, but you get the picture.

Producing a jazz and international music show as Bridget B., while featuring public affairs issues that help to raise a community of voices that often go unheard is what this phase of my life is all about. Having an opportunity to train the next generation of new media storytellers is part of my life's purpose.

I've done the career thing, 20+ years in the events industry finishing up as an event producer who traveled the world producing other people's events. Now, it's time to do the work that I'm most passionate about.

Events will always be my first love and continues to serve as my primary reason for producing Ignite Charlotte. Fingers crossed, as I'm noodling over a couple additional events I plan on producing. But the real, get me out of bed motivator, is the passion that I have for radio, community radio to be specific.

Now that my destination is in plain sight and my life-partner and husband to be Melvin Nix is on-board, it's time to continue the journey.
