Bridget Hinman

Born in Buffalo, NY

As a child I competed in the sports of biathlon, ski orienteering, cross country skiing, soccer, cross country running and field hockey.

My professional career began at age 12 designing products, merchandising and marketing my Mother's flower and decorative arts business.

Attended Paul Smith's College for Hotel and Restaurant Management, internship at the Puma Paw Ranch in Rifle, CO owned by Wally Ganzi of the famous restaurant group The Palm. Best job ever packing saddlebags to serve lunch in the middle of the Rocky Mountains.

I lived in Aspen, Colorado during the winter to ski and manage reservations department at a hotel and spent summers teaching trampoline lessons to future ski team athletes and figure skaters at the Olympic Jumping Complex in Lake Placid, NY.

Opened my own restaurant Pinetree Pasta Company located in the town of Wilmington, NY home of Whiteface Mountain. I am particularly proud of our “Just a Sliver” portion size for homemade desserts.

Five years later became the Marketing Director at Whiteface Mountain and was the voice and personality behind the Bridget Widget.

I then decided to embark on a new adventure in New York City. Trading in my season pass for a ballet subscription and dropping in on ballet classes at Broadway Dance Center.

In December 2013, I began another adventure to Maui, HI where I now reside. It is a magical, magical island and I have never been happier in my life.

You may notice that I overuse the words awesome, super cool and fabulous.

I am living the dream.
